The Brazilian Society of Fats and Oils (SBOG) is a non-profit organization that brings together researchers, students, professionals, companies, and institutions interested in the development of the oils and fats sector in Brazil, with the aim of disseminating knowledge in the field. For three decades, SBOG has played an important role in disseminating research and technical information in the area of oils and fats. Our mission is to promote updating and interaction among professionals, researchers, and students, and consequently, their companies and institutions. We provide opportunities for the sector through the exchange of scientific information and interaction between the various sectors involved in this area.
In 2026, we are organizing the Seminar on Fats and Oils Processing, which will be held on May 14th, 2026. It will take place alongside FENAGRA, in São Paulo, Brazil. This event will address important topics related to processing Oils and Fats, as well as new technologies and advances in scientific research.
